Designate a Business Object for the External Data

External data must have a designated place to be stored. Create a Business Object to accept the external data either by:

• Mapping an existing CSM Business Object to external data, and then import the external data.

  Note: No link option is available for existing CSM Business Objects.

• Creating an External Business Object to import the external data, and then, import the external data.
• Creating an External Business Object to link to the external data.

Use the External Data Wizard to map to an existing CSM Business Object or create an External Business Object, and then Import External Data into a Business Object to import the external data into the mapped CSM Business Object/External Business Object.
