Define a Go to a Record Action for a One-Step

Use the Go to a Record Action to navigate to a particular record. You can navigate to a record based on type and record ID, or you can navigate to a record based on a relationship. For example, click a link on an Incident Record to go to the Major Incident it is linked to.

To define a Go to a Record Action:

  1. Create a One-Step.
  2. On the General page in the One-Step window (accessed from within the One-Step Manager), click Add, and then select Go to a Record.

    The Go to Record window opens.

  3. Define general properties for the Go to a Record Action:
  4. Define which record to have the Action navigate to:
  5. Define other behaviors for the Go to a Record Action:
  6. Click OK.
