Define a Launch a URL Action for a One-Step

Use the Launch a URL Action to launch a URL. For example, add a One-Step to a Portal Dashboard Widget to launch your company's website when Customers click on a link.

To define a Launch a URL Action:

1. Create a One-Step.
2. On the General page in the One-Step window (accessed from within the One-Step Manager), click Add, and then select Launch a URL.

   The Launch URL window opens.

   

3. Define general properties for the Launch a URL Action:
   • Name: Provide a display name for the Action (this is how the Action is identified in the One-Step interface).
   • URL: Define a URL to launch from this Action.
     • Specify a URL directly in the field.
     • Build a URL using Tokens from the Token Tree (click the Selector button or right-click in the field).
4. Click the Ellipses button to navigate to the specified URL to ensure it is correct.
5. Click OK.
