One-Step Manager

Use the One-Step Manager to complete the following One-Step operations:

• View/Run: View a list of available One-Steps. Double-click a One-Step to run it.
• Create , Edit , and Delete : Configure One-Steps to meet your requirements.
• Search: Use the Search Control to run a search that locates and lists all One-Steps whose Display Name and Description contain a specific word or phrase.
• Organize: One-Steps are organized at the root level by default scope (intended audience); however, Users can create subfolders to further organize One-Steps.
• Copy: Copy an existing One-Step as a starting point or template for a similar One-Step.
• Rename: Rename a subfolder or One-Step. Users cannot rename default scopes.
• Import/Export: Import/export One-Step definitions to a .ced file to share One-Steps across systems.
• Find Dependencies: Identify where the One-Step is used and what other items the One-Step uses, if applicable.

  Note: You cannot run One-Steps from CSM Administrator. When you access One-Steps from CSM Administrator, it is primarily to create, edit, or delete them for Users and/or to add them to various areas within CSM (ex: Business Object Forms, Dashboards, Automation Processes, etc.).

There are several ways to open the One-Step Manager.

1. Menu bar: Displays a row of drop-down menus available in the One-Step Manager.
2. Toolbar: Displays a row of buttons for operations available in the One-Step Manager.
3. Search Control: Displays a search box to find specific words or phrases in the One-Step Manager.
4. Manager tree: Displays One-Steps in a hierarchical tree, organized by scope, and subfolder if applicable. Also lists any Searches run during the session. You can also filter One-Steps by Business Object Association.
5. Main Pane: Displays One-Steps by View (Icon, List, or Details (Grid)) and lists search results when a Search is run.
